ANNOUNCEMENT: Welp. Turns out making a comic about two eight-legged mecha battling in the ocean can get a bit… labor intensive. Ran my page buffer right into the ground, so… looks like it’s time for a winter break!
I kinda needed the excuse anyway, as various parts of the website are in desperate need of an overhaul. Things I’m planning to work on:
- New commenting system. Several Hiveworks comics are migrating over from Disqus to Hyvor, and now seems like as good a time as any to take the plunge. (Don’t worry, all your old comments will be preserved!)
- A better “About” page. The one we have now is really light on info, and desperately needs updated character bios and a proper story summary.
- A new promo sidebar. While I’m a longtime fan of Twitter, it’s starting to feel like maybe now’s the time to look for greener pastures? I figure I should rework that sidebar with some better options. Discord? Tumblr? Mastodon? I am open to suggestions!
Those should keep me busy for a while. See you all next year!
